We said goodbye to our headchef, he presented us a recepie book and he told that he will miss us. After work we went to English lesson with Silmara, took photos of us and we received documents for a flight.

Groups, gpoups. We got 2 oh them to prep for, chicken, beetroot and salmon salad and for dessert some lemon tart with italian merang.

Lasy few day were slow. Did some prep for upcoming group, like potato terine, and vegetable terine.

This day wasnt diffrent from other did prep helped chefs. Striped confid duck legs from skin and bone And come back home exhausted.

Last day. i was doing breckfast stuff. Eggs, bacon, potato, tomato. Said farwell to the chefs and bought some suvenirs. Tommorow i will go home.

Läksin tööle kell 9:00. Pärast tööd sõidsin koju panin kokka riidet ära ja sõidsin saal. Pärast seda tulin tagasi koju õhtusöögile. Ja istusin oma toas ja korjasin riidet.

Läksi tööle 9:00 ja olin seal pool päeva pärast sedaa läksin koju õhtusöögile. Hiljem läksin vaatama TV koos perega.

Busy day it was had overwhelming amount of tickets. We preped 3 dishes at same time and chefs gavae me a duty to fry him 2 pigeob brests. And in the end of the work day came in tickets for desserts. It was good experiance though.

Worked in morning this time, nothing unusual happed this day. Mornign shifts are repetetive you fry eggs, bacon, potato and tomatos and prep for next morning shift. And after do some prep for evening shift.

Today we had medium group of 17 people so we had a slow day. Preped some starters and baked some bread for function its was easy to make and its delicious.

This day wasnt easier then previous. Preped vegetable tort, potato mash and grilled some pork chops. Helped chefs as usual this part never gets old.

Läksin kell 9:00 tööle. Pärast tööd läksin saalis ja siis sõidsin koju õhtusöögile. Istusin koos perega suures toas vaatasin TV.

Today was long day at work, during that day i made tomate-basil soup, new potato terrine and red onion jam. And in overall helped the headchef, poured soup and sented it away, helped to serve mains and dessert. In the end of day kitched had a scrubdown i was the one who had to clean the grease gutters - nasty piece of work.
Monday
Today I did preps, smoked chicken breasts and overall helped headchef. It was very sleepy day because yesterday we visited London. There were so many people on the streets, many amazing parks and it was a great time. We also took pictures of London Eye. It was unforgettable experience to feel the freedom.

On this day i had in deapth view of starter and dessert station. Scollops, stuffed dates, chocolate terrine, gnocchi, lemon tart apple tart. Got the basics of how to make them and serve. And ofcourse there is wide selection of ice-cream and sorbees.

Today was just slow we had no groups so we preped for function. When we had some time on our hands sous chef showed his station and afterwards he told me to prepear few dishes on my own with his help ofcourse. Funcion was fun and it went pretty well, i'll hope that next time they will let me preaper something on my own again.

Today i had to rip apart slowly braised pork, for the pork terrine with chives and shallots its only a part of a ham dish. Had to do alot of prep work per usual. Made some tomato soup which had good taste and helped chefs during the service.

Day at job wasn't too eventfull with 4 of us at work, everything was done fast and without complications. After work had a round around town, saw cathedral, Crooked House a many other sights.

This day i got to know breakfast chef Denis. We usually work in pair or in three, he showed me how morning service is done. Helped him to prep for next breackfast. And saw proper English breakfast with beans, mushrooms, bacon, sasusages and scrambled egg.

This days evening service started prep. for salmon and beetroot salad. Had to marinate the beetroot for the entree. When we aproched the service time they told me to put together 10 plates of this salad for the guests. Had been helping chefs this day too.

My work placement. Abbots Barton Hotel Restoraunt. Its a beautiful place both inside and outside. My first day was with introduction to the staff and manegers. I started with a prep for a upcoming team time so had to make alot of sandwiches. And after thats done had to peel whole bunch of potatoes for terrine and potato dauphinoise.

Täna läksin kell 9:00 tööle ja kell 12:00 lõppetasin. Pärast käisin kodus viisin riidet ja siis läksin Ingliskeele tundi. Pärast läksin saali ja siis sõidsin koju ja vaatasin perega TV.

Täna läksin tööle ja ma töötasin terve päev. Õppisin nende menüü ja olin serveerimisel . Koju jõudsin 00:00. Nii et tänane päev oli väga tore.

Today we still take care of the same group this time we have to prep. potato and leek soup. And that day i was honored to make chocolate mousse, it came out delightfull. There was a lady who wanted one but unfortunatly we made only 8, becouse 8 was in order.

When working in the evening we do alot of prep work considering the group we having for dinner. Had to make cream soup for 40 people and after put together some cheese plates. They consisted of 3 cheeses, some tomato chutney, selery and crackers. A tasty desert to finish of a lovely dinner.

Today was not that exiting then yesterday. But i had my fun made some apple tart tartini. Helped chefs around, saw new dishes, hoping to make them next time. To make the tart just take apples, butter, brown sugar, puff pastry and its done.
First slice some apples, butter up baking tin and smear some butter on it, then
put hefty amount of brown suger, apples and put pasty on top. Put the baking tin on stove to melt the sugar. When sugar liquifies you can put it into oven. Bake on 180 degrees till pastry is done.
Taste is marvelous best enjoyed with sugarless tea because its has huge amount of sugar. Enjoy.

In my opinion hard part of work just started. Had to prepare 7kg. of fish cakes on my own. Not mentioning helping the chefs around the kitchen. Had to be around almost evreywhere simultaneously. And the upcoming wedding is soon, so this is going to fun. But im having day of so i wont see it, kinda unfortunate. But in mean time i had learnt how to make few sauces Hollandaise and Buerre Blanc and many other stuff.
If you want to make some fish cakes at home and treat yourself follow this recepie
Even parts of white fish and potato mash, salt, pepper, white onions, till.
Make your mash and boil white fish, mix them together, season it, ad till and finely chopped onions.
When you are contented with the taste of your mash its time to form the patties. Make them how you prefer and put them into freezer or fridge for future breading. When they are enough solid its time. Dip in flour, egg and the into bread crumbs. When you want some just pan fry them and stick afterwards into oven. Check the internal tempareture if its above 65 degree they are good to go.
Served best with tar-tar sauce of tomato sauce. And thats how i make them at my work.

Ärkasin kell 7:30 siis kella 9:00 tulin tööle olin seal 17:30 pärast tööd sõidsin koju ja täidsin 19 blogi. Ja ma võin väga vabalt öelda, et kui keegi läheb sama moodi võtke kaasa arvuti sest telefoniga tätmisega läheb kaua aega ja ei ole eriti mugav. Ja see lehekülg mõnikord laagab:)).

Täna läksin kell 9:30 tööle lõppetasin 16:10 siis läksin saali kell 19:00 sõidsin koju õhtusöögiks ja pärast läksin suure tuppa koos perega TV vaatama.

Ärkasin kell 7:00 läksin tööle kell 9:00 vabaks sain 14:30 siis sõidsin koju panin komka riided ära ja kellaks 16:30 sõidsin saali. Pärast saali sõidsin koju õhtusöögiks ja läksin õue jalutama.

Tänane päev on mul koristamis päev, ärkasin kell 10:00 koristasin tuba, pesin riided ja voodilinu. See oli teine rahulik päev kolme nädala jooksul.

Sõidsin tööle kell 9:00 olin seal kella 12:00 ja siis sõidsin koju, et võtta spordiriided. Siis kui sõidsin koju tekkis ummiks sest seal keset teed meie ees läks väike buss katki jõudsin koju 12:40 siis läksin 13:05 bussipeale, et minna Ingliskeele tundi.
Siis pärast Inglisekeelt meile Silmara lubas banbintoni ja me mängisime kuuekesi 2 tundi. Siis läksime jõusaali 19:30 jõudsin koju õhtusöögile ja tunni aja pärast läksime õue jalutama.

Sõidsin 8:27 tööle kell 8:45 olin kohal uks oli lukkus ja ma läksin kõrval pargi ootama. 9:00 tulin tööle. Pärast tööd läksin jõusaali kell 18:30 sõidsin koju õhtusöögile ja kohe pärast söömist läksin õue.

Nagu kogu aeg läksin 8:27 bussipeale aga buss jäi 20-ne minutiks hiljaks aga ma ikkagi jõudsin kell 9:00 tööle. Pärast tööd sõidsin koju ja panin tööriided ära ja siis sõidsin jõusaali. Kell 18:00 sõidsin koju õhtusöögile. Ja pärast seda läksin jalutama.

Ärkasin tegin hommiku söögi läksin tööle kell 15:20 sõidsin koju panin kokkariided ära ja sõidsin saali. Kell 18:30 sõidsin koju õhtusöögile. Pärast seda läksin suure saali vaatama koos perega TV.

Ärkasin kell 9:00 õues oli soe mina koristasin oma toa ära viisin pesumasinasse oma riidet. Kell 14:00 läksin õue võtma päikest. Kell 16:00 sõidsin tööle olin seal kella 22:00. Siis läksin jala koju, koju jõudes sõin ja läksin magama.

See päev on mul puhkepäev. Ma olin kodus tegin oma tuba korda. Aga midagi erilist ei ole teind nii ,et selle päeva kohta võib öelda , et kõige mõttetum päev.-_-

Kell 9:00 olin tööl kell15:00 läksin koju ja võtsin spordiriided ja läksin saali. Pärast sõidsin koju õhtusöögile ja hiljem räägisin Annaga( meie hostemaga) ,et ma tahan minna Ashfordi laupäeval. Tema räägis mis seal head on.

Tulin kella 9:00 tööle. Pärast tööt sõidsin koju ,et võtta spordiriided ja minna saali, kui läksin bussipeale vihma sadas nii ,et igal pool olid vee loipud. Üks buss sõdis sellest läbi ja tegi mind märjaks. Siis läksin uuesti koju vahetasin riide. Hiljem jõudsin rahulikult bussipeale ja sõidsin saali. Pärast saali sõidsin koju, sõin õhtusöögi ära ja läksin vaatama koos perega TV suures toas.
